WHY IT WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED ANYWAY
  The project is "ultrafast room temperature chemical sintering of noble metals", in the
  Merkoci group. The required experience, quoted from the advertisement:

    "Printed electronics techniques, particularly screen printing or inkjet printing"
    "Chemical treatment of nanomaterials or thin films, including unconventional
     sintering approaches"
    "Characterization of the properties of the printed films and resulting devices"
    "materials science, nanotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, printed
     electronics, micro/nanofabrication"

  This is materials engineering for sensor manufacture. She has no printed electronics, no
  screen or inkjet printing, no sintering, and no micro- or nanofabrication. The word
  "nano" in the title is the only thing this shares with her work, and a panel of device
  engineers would see that in the first paragraph of any letter.

  The contract was also temporary to 31 December 2026 - about three months of work.

WHAT TO DO
  Nothing. If Barcelona is the target, the Nanomedicine group at the same institute and
  Prof. Muro's group at IBEC are the right doors, and both are in this pack.
